Mee Seva on Your Mobiles soon

Meeseva Services will be available on your Mobile phones soon. 


Telangana State administration will soon be in your hands, figuratively speaking. The State government is all set to launch ‘m-Governance’ within two months, using which all the services currently available at Mee Seva centres can be accessed on your mobile phones.
Currently, 321 key services are available at Mee Seva centres in Telangana. Another 50 new services would be added to Mee Seva by September this year.
“m-Governance will be launched in a couple of months. As a first step, around five key services will be made available on m-Governance. This is the first time in the country that any state government has launched m-Governance for citizens,” IT&C secretary Jayesh Ranjan told Express.
After the launch of m-Governance, all the services available in Mee Seva will be added to m-Governance too in phases, he added.
According to Jayesh Ranjan, currently 321 services belonging to 35 departments are available at Mee Seva centres. Mee Seva was launched in 2011 in the then united Andhra Pradesh and one crore transactions were recorded in two-and-a-half years after the launch of Mee Seva.
Later, two crore transanctions were recorded by February, 2014, three crore by October the same year and four crore by April this year. “The total transactions in Mee Seva will touch five crore very soon,” Jayesh Ranjan said.
Earlier, Labour Minister N Narasimha Reddy launched the portal of the factories department. Labour, Employment Training and Factories Secretary Harpreet Singh said the department work could be done online which would give no scope for corruption. Director of Factories Ch Kishnan was also present.

Factory Services Through Meeseva in Telangana

Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy today said the State government is expanding services of the factories in the State through Mee Seva centers.
Launching five services of Factories through Mee Seva centers on pilot basis, including annual licence fee payment, filing of annual returns, amendment in horse power and manpower, change of manager or occupier and applications for approval of revised plans, the Home Minister said the online services will prove handy for the factories. So far, 316 high volume services from 34 departments and 4,37,70,000 transactions were offered through Mee Seva centers. Soon these centers will cross the mark of five crore transactions, he added.
